Poorva Jain

Experienced transport planner with a strong academic background, holding a Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning and a Master’s in Transport Planning. I’ve contributed my expertise as a transport planner working with Atkins, India, and within a semi-government organization in India, while also gaining valuable consultancy experience in the UK, to develop and model transport solutions. Currently a Ph.D. student at the University of Alberta’s School of Urban & Regional Planning, exploring new horizons in this dynamic subject and focusing on “Women in Transit,” with a strong interest in creating inclusive and accessible transport systems.
